About this Event

Century City are duo Nikolas Gray (vocals/guitar) and Tommy Francis (Drums/Vocals), two musicians who had met whilst playing in various New Wave/Indie bands in the market town of Northampton (New Cassettes, Kapowski) .



Initially the band wrote and recorded over email, sending each other song ideas and layering the tracks one by one until a song was formed.



Despite Century City’s indie roots they developed an altogether poppier sound by mixing their childhood pop “guilty pleasures” with the rock bands that shaped their musical beginnings. Together it makes for a killer cocktail of fist pumping pop filled with Rock & Roll energy.
