After their first debut headline gig at The Duchess and supporting Irish celtic rockers, Raglans at Fibbers, The Filthy Piece have rapidly established a growing local fan base. Their classic rock tones and post punk punchiness has captivated crowds across York, also thanks to their firey stage presence and rock and roll attitude. Complex, intricate drumming patterns, driving guitar solos and meaningful lyrics marry together to create some of the band's catchiest and most well known tunes such as Seven Missed Calls and Chest Line Mind.
