Definition of 'Transition' : The process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another. ; change, movement, transformation, adaptation, adjustment.



Definition of 'Activation' : To make active; cause to function or act.





One of the regions newest Hard Trance events which is set to launch on Friday the 13th of November at Warehouse 23 in Wakefield. Tranzition is an event which is just purely all about the music as there are NO MC's, this new event will aim to build the Hard Trance Scene in Yorkshire and provide a good quality nightout with something very different being brought to the area for everyone that attends. There will be a mixture of both established DJs and up and coming DJs which will be regularly rotated each event. We will be looking for fresh new determined talent who's style matches what we are looking for. All we ask is that you bring a demo on the night of our first event with your DJ name and contact number, please hand in your demo at the front desk to one of our promoters, Tranzition will be managed by the usual HardVibez team joining forces with the management of Target 86 Promotions. This is our new project we have had planned for a while now and we have many different ideas of what we can do so we have decided to experiment with it and see if this has a future in our area, if this appeals to you then come on down and show your support and help us build on it.

UK Hard Trance Pioneer, founder of UK44 Records.

M-Zone is the most influential underground hard trance DJ of the nineties.... and as "Hard Trance" only came about in the nineties - people are right to refer to him as "The Godfather of Hard Trance" it was M-Zones banging, uplifting + uptempo beats that caught Mark EG's ear in the mid nineties and made Mark EG become one of the most recognised hard trance DJ's around the world. Now they have both played all over the world and have many followers and certainly always will..... M-Zones music will live forever.



→ KENNY SHARP ←

Kenny Sharp first made his name in the Rave scene as a resident DJ and co-promoter of the legendary rave "Uprising" in the North of England around '94 and '95. Before then, Kenny Sharp had been a popular DJ in the local area, but Uprising gave him the chance to be known on a bigger scale. As the resident Trance DJ at the club, Kenny sharp played his unique brand of uplifting, hard and upbeat trance to hundreds of clubbers every week. Also resident at Uprising was the up and coming DJ M-Zone, whose style was not unlike that of Kenny, but just a little harder. After playing together for several months, the two became friends and Kenny was signed to write a track for release on M-Zone's new label, Teach Yourself Techno. Kenny did just that releasing "Missing You", the first release on the new label and one of Uprising's most well known anthems. From this point on, Kenny began his producing career, notching up several releases across the UK44 Records stable, making guest appearances on several others, performing as part of the UK44 Live PA team and starting his own label, Uprising Trance.

As well as the producing aspect, Kenny started playing clubs around the country and in 1999 left Uprising to concentrate more on his own nights including "Trancentral" and "Destiny".

From humble beginnings back before time began, Topgroove has forged himself a substantial career over the past quarter century. Best known for his trance sets he can also be heard playing old skool sets that take you back to the early nineties. If you’re in luck you might even catch him throwing in the occasional bit of scratching if the mood takes him. Promoter of Uprising and founder of One Vision.

Known as Barnsley's most versatile DJ, although Freeform has become a firm favourite playing Hard Trance. Known for a progressive mixture of deep dug hidden Trance gems and everyones well known classics. Resident at our very own HardVibez and Tranzition, a true genuine crowd favourite.

Fast rising Hard Trance / Hardstyle DJ in the region, Coopz has played up and down the country within a short 3 year career including the UK's number 1 Hardstyle event 'Bionic' with an upcoming booking at the return of 'Dizstruxshon' due to winning the 2014 'Full Effex DJ Competition'. Known for playing a mash up of Hard Trance classics and the harder edged reverse bass sound of Hardstyle.

Yet another fast rising Hard Trance DJ brought through the ranks of HardVibez, Smed has made his name known on the circuit after being booked by the UK's number 1 DJ himself M-Zone after his first ever live performance. He doesn't play your usual well known tracks and has gained a name for himself by digging deep into the archives and finding tracks that no other DJ in our scene plays. Definitly a name to look out for in the future.

The newest name on the Hard Trance scene, Joe has built up a wide selection of Hard Trance on his tracklist along with Uplifting Trance tracks. Ready and eager to perform his second live act and progress into the circuit, another name to keep your eye on.

Local DJ and new name on the Tranzition recruitment list, Ellerker handed in a demo and turned a few heads in the promotion team. Expect an old and new mixture of many forms of Hard Trance and Hardstyle.
