THE BOILEROOM OXJAM TAKEOVER





Oxjam which takes place in October is a month of gigs run by volunteers to raise money for Oxfam who provide support and aid to people in over 90 countries who have suffered a traumatic loss of supplies in their life.



The event will take place on Sunday 18th October.

Without the help of volunteers such as those running this Oxjam Takeover in Guildford, Oxfam's impact on the world would be a very different one. In 2014, Oxfam received £188.3 million in voluntary income, with a big push lying in not only their charity shops run by volunteers but also the Oxjam October community events.



The great thing about giving to Oxfam is that they not only save lives responding to disasters, but they uplift and rebuild people’s lives too. Everyone who comes along can rest assured that as well as having a great time, they’ll be helping to change lives around the world too.
