Following on from their sold out shows, mosh pits and stage invasions of 2015, Black Honey are heading back out on tour in March. Ending the year on a high saw the band pick up NME Radar Band of the Week, Guardian Band of The Week, DIY’s Class of 2016 and topping it off by being crowned “The Most Blogged Band of 2015” by Hype Machine and BBC 6Music.

Huw Stephens and Annie Mac at Radio One premiered their stand out tracks, Madonna, Spinning Wheel and Corrine all of which were repeatedly played across the station. The songs also received a huge response from the blog world amassing over 730,000 plays on Soundcloud and a further 1,250,000+ plays on Spotify. This was swiftly followed up with an extensive run of dates throughout the spring/summer including support slots to The Cribs, Superfood and Mini Mansions and heading in to a jam packed festival season with the band performing across all the city festivals including Live At Leeds, The Great Escape Festival, Dot to Dot Festival and Liverpool Sound City. In July they headed into Holland for a hugely successful set at the Metropolis Festival and over to Croatia for a slot on the same bill as The Vaccines at Croatia Rocks. Other summer highlights included playing on the main stage at Y Not Festival, packed performances at Kendal Calling and Tramlines and finishing off the festival season playing Reading and Leeds on the Festival Republic Stage. Without taking a break the band then went on their first headline tour in October culminating in packed out venues across the countries and sold out shows in London and Brighton.

2016 is already shaping up to be exciting for the band having started out with a run of dates in Holland including impressive performances at Eurosonic Festival and being named in the Top 5 bands of the festival.
