About this Event

Lox has been surrounded by percussionists his whole life thanks to his father, and picked up the sticks and started playing the drum kit at 10 years old. Since deciding to take it seriously from the age of 16, he has put in thousands of hours of practice and has learnt to adapt to and develop many styles of music. By age 20 Lox had played in many of Londons major venues/ festivals and toured the country playing all styyles odf music, from Trap & Hip Hop to Jazz fusion to Soca & Calypso exhibitibg both subtle, musical approach and being able to flip the switch to excplosive exciting drumming.

Hoos Collective is a 5-piece instrumental band from London. Influenced by jazz and hip-hop, these musicians play dynamic and bouncy dance music accompanied with
cinematic-like  soundtracks. They are  active  in the  East  and South-East  London UK jazz scene. After playing jazz  for a  while  in different  London venues and gaining a  decent
following, they started to write their own material with the aim being to connect to their audience through beautiful, harmonic story telling. Their debut single is named after the
street  where  they all  first  met  and also recorded it.
