"Slaves have had an amazing 2015. A true breakout band of the year they appeared in many ‘Ones To Watch’ lists, and have gone on to become one of the most talked about acts this year, gaining an army of fans including personal heroes Jamie T and Mike Sinner. In June Isaac (drums, vocals) and Laurie (guitar, vocals) released their debut album, Are you Satisfied? which smashed into the top ten charts. Full of bolshie anthems like ‘Cheer up London’ and ‘Do Something’, the album is a riotous riposte to the dreary mood of austerity Britain.



They’ve also gone down a storm at radio with sessions for Huw Stevens, Mary Anne Hobbs, Annie Mac and two acclaimed Radio 1 Live Lounges where they delivered blistering covers of Skepta’s ‘Shutdown’ and The Chemical Brother’s ‘Go’.

Live, Slaves are a ferocious beast hardened by years of playing Britain’s clubs and pubs. Both intimidating and entertaining in equal measure, the pair bring full throttle energy and an anarchic sense of humour to every show they play, sometimes spending as much time in the crowd as they do on stage.



Over the last year they’ve been causing chaos at the world’s festivals including three hit-and-run sets at this year’s Glastonbury, slots at Reading & Leeds and appearances at Pukkelpop and Japan’s Summer Sonic festival. They also supported The Libertines at the Ibiza Rocks 10thAnniversary.

They’re just about to step out on their November UK headline tour and will be playing special end of year shows at Brixton Academy and in their old stomping ground of Royal Tunbridge Wells.
