Forbidden Festival is BACK but this time we’re taking over Twisted Monkey and Hydeout to bring you one MASSIVE Festival themed party!!



We are going all out for this bank holiday and bringing you the biggest Easter Sunday event to hit Watford when our two venues will be turned into a magical festival wonderland with 4 rooms of music!! Both venues will be interlinked for this event so you can move freely between Twisted Monkey & Hydeout all night!



Forbidden festival welcomes a whole host of live entertainment from a range of live acts and DJ’s including Copyright from Defected on the main stage at Hydeout, DJ Swerve (Kiss FM) bringing the beats in Brooklyn & the legend Pat Sharp from Fun house taking our disco room to the next level! Twisted Monkey will be open early doors for those who fancy checking out some Acoutsic sounds from Raw Vibes (Vibe 107.6 fm) & the late night twisted session we welcome Shelly Nelson performing the club classic ‘Right before my eyes’ Live!





HEAD LINE: COPYRIGHT - Defected



Truest of all perhaps was Copyright’s debut artist album ‘Voices and Visions’ which came in 2008 and spawned singles ‘Free’, ‘I Pray’, ‘In Da Club (Shake Sh*t Up), We Can Rise, Deeper and the anthemic 'Wizeman’. Then in 2010 they joined the likes of Louie Vega, Dennis Ferrer and MK as their remarkable discography was celebrated as part of Defected’s House Masters series on a 2 CD retrospective of their very finest production and remix moment.



PAT SHARP



Pat presented his first daytime show 34 years ago for BBC Radio 1 at just twenty years of age back in 1982. Following a year on air, plus numerous ‘Top of the Pops’ TV appearances, he then went on to host mid mornings at 95.8 Capital FM for a decade. Along the way he picked up a gold Sony award whilst also notching up 7 hit singles and raising over £300,000 for charity as part of the infamous Stock Aitken Waterman duo ‘Pat & Mick’. He then took his mid-morning slot to #1 again at Heart London! On TV Pat hosted the now cult rated ITV show ‘ FunHouse ‘ for 12 years which repeats every weekend even now on Sky / Challenge TV along with other ITV shows including the Saturday morning spectacular ‘What’s Up Doc?’ ’10 Sharp’ ‘The Gala Opening of Disneyland Paris’ plus Sky One’s ‘UK Top 40’.



DJ SWERVE

Swerve has been on Kiss FM for over 10 years and currently hosts the Kiss Jamsmix show where he mixes up fresh and classic RnB and Hip Hop. It is also the most listened to show in London in it's timeslot. He has interviewed the biggest artists in the scene from Jay Z and Snoop Dogg to Alicia Keys and Will I Am.

Swerve has also played around the globe from New York and Ibiza to Japan as well as almost every big clubnight across the UK.



SHELLEY NELSON

Known famously for the classic Garage track Something in your eyes which she will be performing live at Twisted Monkey!
