THE Y STREET BAND have spent the past year developing a sound best described as an emotional blend of past and present and one that flows with an undercurrent of humour and honesty, creating a very personal and musically diverse collection of songs which represent the group as a whole.



Individually each member brings to the band their own brand of eccentricities which meld to create the dynamic and stylistic features heard throughout their music and forms their unique personality. Having spent several years building their reputation as an exceptional act in their local area, The Y Street Band are now gathering momentum throughout the UK with the release of their longly anticipated debut EP of original material.



‘Big House’ is a collection of four songs, written, recorded and produced by the band themselves and demonstrates how pop music should sound now and where the group themselves aim to take it.
