Truffle Shuffle???



A Foot Stompin’, Hip Shakin’, Finger Poppin’ Classic, Old & New blend of Rhythm & Blues, Reggae & Ska, Funk & Soul, Boogie & Rock & Roll ~ DJ Kripstar brings on the party vibes from far and wide in a musical range that somehow fits into one evening of pure unadulterated fun!



There is no typical 'Shuffle' night, each unique and with so many different artists played ~ we’d be here till the sun comes up listing all them on here! but suffice to say you can be guaranteed to hear likes of Blues star John Lee Hooker swaying his guitar sound alongside the crispy clean 'n sharp vocals of James Brown, the soulful clapping piano of Ray Charles to the wild boogie woogie of Jerry Lee Lewis, Ruth Brown & Aretha Franklin hollerin' down the walls of Bacchus, Chuck Berry & Big Joe Turner whippin' you into a dance frenzy of electric guitars & screamin’ horns whilst the ‘Reggae Got Soul’ vibes of Prince Buster, Bob Marley & Toot’s slow you down just long enough to catch your breath..



Truffle’s been compared to having a Quentin Tarantino~esque style of sound over the years (6 years to be exact ~ we started in 2008!) and we certainly take on that vibe of mixing classics with the newer/older sounding artists we find along the way, Kitty Daisy & Lewis being a good example, as well as lovin’ up every single soundtrack the ‘Tino’ has ever made we also enjoy the odd bootleg/re-edit now and then ~ which all makes the Truffle Shuffle experience a legend in it’s own right..
