About this Event

On the absolute razor-edge of everything vibrant and current coming from the UK music scene, Lovedough has become over the course of the past twelve years absolute institution for urban fiends in the know. The roster of live artists that have already played this night is nothing short of world class, with Labrinth, A$AP Rocky, Delilah, Sway, Cleo Sol and Mcknasty all taking to the stage in recent months.

►► NEON JUNGLE

'I don’t look for trouble, trouble looks for me and it’s been waiting around corners since I was 17…’ Think you know girlbands? Think again. Neon Jungle are about to rip up the rulebook. These four girls are blazing a trail of their own with their punky, infectious music, citing influences such as Foo Fighters, Bob Marley and Italian opera by way of Beyonce.

Chaotic and contagious at the same time, they dabble with rap, dance and pop – all tied together with a lot of attitude and teenage spirit. ►► LADY LESHURR

Birmingham born Lady Leshurr is a female MC/singer and producer, currently taking the world by storm. Her seamless flow has an instant likeability, complimented by a melodic singing voice and harmonies that just pour off her tongue... and her commercial style is backed up and accompanied by fast-paced and, at times, fierce lyrical display. Leshurr’s material blends her unique sound with popular genres encompassing house, hip hop, dancehall and pop. Citing Lil Wayne as one of her key influences, Leshurr could already be his female equivalent.





►► MYSELF (UK Dance Crew)

Myself UK Dance is a collective of strong, female Hip Hop dancers formed together to inspire females and the wider society of all ages. By promoting empowerment, individuality and self worth through the medium of Hip Hop dance and the slogan 'I <3 Mysef.' Myself UK Dance Company credits include Got To Dance, The Apprentice, Coldplay, Blaze Tour, Breakin' Convention. ►► MAGICAL BONES

Dubbed the ‘Magical Bones’ Richard Essien is considered to be one of the most exciting talents to have emerged from the magic industry. Starting out his career as a professional hip hop dancer he has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys and Madonna. An exceptionally skilled break-dancer and a gifted showman Richard has gone on to establish himself as one of the most respected and prominent figures within the UK hip hop scene. Now focusing primarily as a magician he has combined his love of hip hop culture with his passion for the art of magic to create a unique blend of innovative magic which he describes as a ‘soulful experience of astonishment’.
