WARHORNS
www.facebook.com/warhornsofficial
"Warhorns are a 3-Piece Alternative Rock band based in Devon. The band consists of brothers Matty Clements (Bass), Jym Clements (Drums), & childhood pal Jak Paxton (Guitar & Vocals). Recently relocating to the sunny south of the country, Warhorns have made a lasting impression early doors. Having demos part of the BBC Introducing playlists on occasion, and more recently having their upcoming single ‘I Am The Sun’ chosen as BBC Introducing Devon’s ‘Upload Of The Week’. Also Radio One spinning it on the dev breakfast show!
Their sound is immediately recognisable, with massive chorus hooks accompanied with fuzzy guitar, bass lines fit for stadiums, and drums as large as they come. Each member plays an integral role in writing, creating an ensemble that can’t be recreated without a true musical connection. They were all brought up from a very young age with similar influences, most notable, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Nirvana amongst some of the main pioneers of rock. As their musical tastes blossomed in sync, more modern and eclectic bands like (to name just a few); White Denim, Queens Of The Stone Age, Thee Oh Sees, & Radiohead started to take up room on the shelf.
This is a boisterous glance into the resounding world of a fuzz-based emphatic triumvirate."
FOR FANS OF:
Queens Of The Stone Age, Dinosaur Pile Up, METZ, Royal Blood.
