Black & White Music presents Carnival Youth

CARNIVAL YOUTH



With performances at The Great Escape (The Line of Best Fit ‘picks of TGE 2016’)and Club NME Koko back in May, Latvian indie pop youngsters Carnival Youth release new track Seagulls on Bicycles following second album Propeller (released on June 3).



Performing at the European Border Breaker Awards at Eurosonic Festival earlier this year, the band received the People’s Choice Award (presented byJools Holland), beating other finalists including Years & Years, Aurora and Soak. The band’s hectic touring has seen them perform in almost every country in Europe.



Support from the UK media already includes strong support from 6Music’s Steve Lamacq (who has supported every radio single to date), as well as Huw Stephens Radio 1, John Kennedy on Radio X, Chris Hawkins 6Music, Amazing Radio, The Guardian, The Independent, Artrocker, and topping an end of year 'Best of Fresh List' on Tom Robinson's blog. Record of the Day a retro-tinged feel-good guitar pop anthem with hugely broad appeal and looks set to raise their profile even further.

Horse Rock is an exhilarating ride with some of Berkshire's wildest stallions. Formed in a stable somewhere between Reading and Sunbury in the summer of 2011, Horse Rock combine original surf instrumentals, thought-provoking equestrian themes and classic indie covers such as 'Wasted Time' by Kings of Leon, 'Gamma Ray' by Beck and 'Psycho Killer' by Talking Heads. Featuring the galloping drumming skills of Justjin 'Beiber' Ljeisk , the cantering bass of Dr. Black Floodman, and the world's first and only master of equine-guitar-playing Delmo Mondeo-Monte IV .
