About this Event

DANCE #7 - End Of Term Party – 9th December 2016

Incognito Radio - Incognito's House (Room 2)

BIG NARSTIE is fast becoming an iconic figure in the current UK music scene & consequently it is with delight that we announce the man himself as our headliner for DANCE #7 at Reading University Students Union on the 9th December.

A three time UMA Best Grime Act and Mobo nominated artist, Big Narstie is as comfortable rapping over the dirtiest basslines as he is over his own VIP versions of Britpop classics by the likes of Oasis.

“I like what I like…what of it? I’m just being real in this thing, cuz, you can find me singing this stuff at the top of my lungs as much as serenading your girl or some rodent with soul jams. Benteke!”.

Big Narstie’s collab with Craig David ‘When The Bassline Drops’ has been a staple on dancefloors up & down the country since its release earlier on this year, this one is sure to send the dancefloor into a frenzy on the night itself:

Glastonbury, NASS Festival, Bestival, Detonate, Eski Dance, Motion Bristol, Melkweg Amsterdam, Building 6, Outlook Festival, Fresh Island Festival, Godiva Festival, Hijacked Festival, Everywhere Festival are some of the places that rocked to Big Narstie’s performances recently, it’ll soon be time to rock 3Sixty, Reading University.

DJ, label head and club impresario MADAM X has proved she has many strings to her bow. From co-founding label and Manchester club night BPM in 2010 to showcase how much the city had to offer, she soon built a reputation for her own DJ sets - a surefire, upfront mix of everything current and bubbling; grime, techno, bass, garage - you name it, Madam X would mix it. It was this reputation that paved the way for a series of BBC 1Xtra residency slots while still in Manchester - she even covered for Diplo in 2014 - but it’s a combination of hard work and crucially, patience, that have really started to pay off over the last two years.

Now a regular fixture on festival line-ups - she played the BBC R1 Dance Tent to over 8000 people at Reading Festival this summer - but also some of the underground’s most iconic nights in Deviation, Manchester’s WHP and even legendary grime night Eskimo Dance, Madam X has proved herself as one of the UK’s leading new DJs. Equally adept at playing to huge crowds as she is 100-cap basements, as well as hosting her own shows on BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and NTS, her multi-faceted approach to music feels unique and ultimately, special.

SAMI SWITCH has quickly built a cult following, selling out headline shows at both birthdays and The Old Queen’s Head, Recently, Sami toured with garage act FooR, promoting the collaboration single ‘Trouble’ at different festivals while pushing his own single 'One love' which is getting a lot of love from Charlie Sloth and the Radio 1 team. Catch him live at 3Sixty on the last day of this term!

JAY INFO + AJ LIVE and GREGZLAR complete the line-up in 3Sixty on the night while INCOGNITO RADIO takeover Mojos with a special line-up of their favourite House DJs...line up coming soon!
