About this Event

On February 3rd 2017, we will be heading back to where it all began, Reading. We'll be teaming up with our club partners Cubed to bring you a full fat night of tasty reminiscence. To say we are ecstatic to bring you this lineup would be an understatement... so without further ado:



Our first headline act - A combination of two incredible DJ's, producers and MC's. These guys are as versatile as they are talented and will be treating us to a back 2 back extravaganza of beats and lyrics - The bossmen, Chimpo & CHUNKY. Both hailing from Manchester, and both integral parts of the Manchester super crew LEVELZ, Chimpo & Chunky will deliver a set that you're not like to have seen before. From unreleased dubplates to unheard lyrics, these guys are going to blow you away.



Our second headliner is one that needs little introduction... but we'll give you one anyway! Recently having been nominated for 'Best Breakthrough Act' in the DJ Mag awards, we welcome DJ Barely Legal to the roster. A master of the mix and blend, whilst shuffling through genres like a pack of playing cards; her style is one that can't be classified. Yet, her passion for bouncy and grimey beats resonates throughout her sets. Safe to say that we're not ready for the levels that Barely Legal is going to bring.



Support comes from another Manchester based DJ & producer. A close eatmybeat affiliate, we welcome back Hypho! Off the back of a number of incredible releases from the likes of 877 Records and Boss Mode, Hypho is quite literally on fire. His 'Gong Tau' EP, scheduled for release on eatmybeat will be dropping as a limited edition vinyl press at the end of November (head over to our Bandcamp page and cop the vinyl!). Hypho's punchy and driving style will get everybody suitably warmed up.



The EMB Collective, along with the Cubed DJs will complete the bill. Ex Reading locals, both teams understand the Reading music culture and will open and close the party with a bang!
