Organised Scum > https://youtu.be/h5y-Dv157Y8

Despite their almost complete absence from social media and sonically-misleading name, Organised Scum have already received support from the likes of NME, Drowned in Sound, The Line of Best Fit, BBC 6Music, and from PRS for Music Foundation. With comparisons to Mac Demarco, Blur and XTC, and recent gigs taking them from London to New York, this is definitely a band to watch for 2017.

“Employing a folk-driven indie rock backdrop, [they] specialise in shambolic, absurdist fare... Frontman Tom Duggins… sounds uncannily like [Damon] Albarn, spinning the same types of everyday life absurdist narratives as can be found on The Great Escape, propelled along on a Kinks-ian lope glazed over with Pavement-like fuzz. It’s smart, crafty, lazy, and stoopid all rolled up in a nice delectable three-minute Matzah ball.” (The Line of Best Fit)

The Happy Few > www.facebook.com/happyfewuk

"The Happy Few are part of the ever-emerging wave of incredible young bands taking roots music and creating something new and exciting. Following the way paved by Alabama Shakes and Jack White, via the spirit of The Doors, their unique take on soul/rock music uses heavy rhythm and dark atmosphere. With a giant hip hop/soul feel in the grooves, the guitars weave from explosive blues dominance to subtle atmospheric soundscaping, to compliment Alex Wilshaw’s incredibly haunting vocals."

CHARLYN > www.facebook.com/charlynmusic

CHARLYN is a Pop-Rock-Electronic group, based in London.

FlyZig > www.facebook.com/FlyZig

We're a new band based in Essex, we've been playing together for just over a year and have very recently released our first EP, titled Skies Will Break.

As a band we have a lot of energy and really strive to make every gig a true show and performance that the audience will remember!

Talia Dean & The Lips > www.facebook.com/TaliaDeanMusic

"From the ghettos of South West London Talia brings you Soul, Pop-Rock and a London attitude.

Don't let the pretty face fool you, Talia vocal ability is fierce, One minute she’s hitting low soulful notes like Nina Simone then she will catapult her voice into space like Robert Plant.

Her cheeky powerful phrases and honest lyrics are glued together by the bands (The LIPS) strong connection responding to her every articulation with clever musical accents"

Carl Olander > www.facebook.com/carlolanderofficial

Armed with an acoustic guitar, a breathtaking voice and his band of talented musicians, Carl’s taken his music to over 300 shows as well as showcasing his songs across Europe. With sounds not so far off from a Mumford & Sons revival, this is an act you must find time to see.
