WBF presents Habitats & Temples of Youth

02/02/2017

About this Event

We Broke Free are proud to present:

HABITATS

HABITATS are a self-proclaimed four piece indie/alternative band from the south of England. They project a tropical sound with a jagged edge, leading to a naughty-but-nice sonic disposition.

Armed with tropical beats and a slender groove willing to divide night and day, their stage presence is a cross between a Monty Python sketch and a night of awkward

flirting that nonetheless has an endearing charm to it. They relish the idea of not having a specific frontman, and with four separate personalities on stage they all have the ability to bring their own characteristics to the live show.

Plus guests:

Temples of Youth

Temples of Youth are an upcoming and acclaimed electronic duo from Winchester, UK. Their music consists of powerful female vocals, against a soundscape of ambient synth and shimmering guitar. Dig a little deeper and you will find some big themes explored in their work which has often been compared to artists such as Daughter, Beach House and London Grammar. Paul Gumma and Jo Carson began working on their live set in December 2015, with the desire to bring their music to the stage with a limited number of hands; Jo on percussion and Paul on guitar, utilising samplers and effects to recreate their sound.

FREE ENTRY, NO TICKET REQUIRED.
