☆ACT 1☆

Our first headlining act is a Glasgow-born Scottish DJ and music producer, now living in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Produces and plays a variety of genres. Although he is most associated with bouncy techno, his music ranges from happy hardcore, through hard trance, to gabber. He is the founder of Evolution Records, which started in 1994.

He was heavily involved in the evolution of the UK's hardcore techno scene from the early 1990s, in particular introducing the harder-edged sounds of Belgian and Dutch techno to the UK, and taking the Scottish sounds to Europe. He DJs at events in the UK, the Netherlands, the US, and locations worldwide.

Has produced music on his own record labels (Evolution Records, Evolution Plus, Evolved, Evolution Gold, Poosh, Screwdriver and Twisted Vinyl), and under a range of monikers including Plus System,The Scotchman,Interstate, Bass-X (with his brother Stewart), and with his band Q-Tex, which was formed in 1991.

His work is featured on Bonkers, to date the best-selling series of hardcore compilations. His most significant tracks are "Definition of a Bad Boy", "Synthetic Dreams", "Like An Angel" (Q-Tex), "Just Walk Away", "Rock Rock On", "Technophobia", "Fly With You", "Now Is The Time", "Elysium", "Neckbreaker", "Boomstick", "Fuzzy Muff", "Turn Up The Music", "Roll The Track" and "Taking Drugs?".

Also appeared on the mega-hit compilation albums of Dancemania's Speed series. His first appearance on the series was on the third issue of the series in 1999. He later appeared on Trance Ravers (along with fellow British artists including Hixxy, Bang, Helix, Styles, Breeze and Sharkey), Speed 8, Speed 10, and Best of Hardcore.

In 2006, his hardcore cult hit "Elysium" was married to vocals and given a trance remix treatment by dance act Ultrabeat, achieving further success for a song which is perceived by many hardcore fans as an anthemic piece of dance music.

ACT 2 MARK EG

Mark’s rise to fame began in the early 90’s after his love for Chicago house, Detroit techno and acid house progressed into an unequivocal need to spread the word of Belgium techno, hard techno and also hard trance. After DJing for the UK’s biggest rave parties of the time (Helter Skelter, Dreamscape etc) as well as working as PR for Re:Load, GPR and Proper Records, Mark became A+R for dance music giant Bonzai Records. He also turned his skills to journalism, editing the techno section for cult rave magazine Eternity. He soon became Assistant Editor for Wax Magazine and to this day writes record reviews for Tilllate Magazine and co-owns and edits Core Magazine.

Over the years, he’s played in nearly every continent as well as some of the biggest and best parties the dance scene has to offer. Circuito (Brazil), Q Dance (Holland), Dance Valley (Holland), Q Base (Germany), Slinky (UK), Tidy Trax (UK), Planet Love (Ireland), The World Electronic Music Festival (Canada), Glastonbury (UK), Hardline 77 (Russia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), Club Cinema (Ukraine), HTID (UK and Australia), Fantazia (Scotland), Ground Zero (Holland), Frantic (UK), 3D/Hard Kandy (Australia), Drop Bass Network (America), Paradog (Slovakia), Technofest (Crimea), Country Club (UK), Slammin Vinyl (UK) it’s an endless list that sees him playing an average of two to four gigs per weekend.

Mark produces music under various names (many of which are anonymous) but perhaps his most famous is with his partner Chrissi under The Anxious. With releases on established labels such as Audio Assault, ARMS, Compound, Planet Rhythm, Fine Audio and Submissions, their Live PA for Circuito in Brazil in 2005 became on of the most downloaded hard techno sets of all time.

Then there’s his own techno record label Blackout Audio. With a release schedule that’s seen releases from countless legendary techno producers including Inigo Kennedy, Glenn Wilson, Patrick Skoog and Chris McCormack, it’s hardly surprising that the label website now boasts an online techno community of nearly 20,000 members.

Whatever your style, whatever your sound, Mark EG is one artist you don’t want to miss out on. No hype, no bullshit, just music.

MARK E G

☆ACT 3☆

For over two decades the Organ Donors have transcended genres and helped paved the way for the modern boundary-free era of electronic dance music. Their tracks on the infamous Nukleuz & BXR Records were some of the biggest of that era and they entered the UK Top 40 twice with their cover version of Michael Jackson’s ‘Wanna be Starting Something’ (4 Tribes) and Blackout. Their subsequent release on Tidy Trax; Turntablism was played 7 consecutive weeks by Radio 1 resident Judge Jules and won tune of the year at the 2006 HDA. They held the Number 1 spot on the Beatport chart for almost a year with their remix of Bassturbation which also went on to win hard track of the year in the 2011 Beatport poll.

Fast forward to the present and their original productions and remixes on Spinnin, Armada, Perfecto, Reset & Flashover have gained DJ support from the world's biggest artists including; Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Kutski, Showtek, Ferry Corsten & Marco V and they have been head hunted to do remixes for Paul Oakenfold, Marcel Woods, Sean Tyas, Lange, Mark Sherry & Lisa Lashes.

On their label; Audio Surgery, they have released music from Acti, Public Domain, Darren Styles, Isaac, Sean Tyas, Scot Project, A*S*Y*S & Kamui; including their official remix of Mauro Picotto’s ‘Iguana’. The label pushes a forward-thinking, harder edged sound and has gained a worldwide following since its inception in 2009. Their daring and humorous, viral music videos have notched up millions of YouTube views.

They regularly tour all four corners of the globe, taking their infamous harder edge sound and turntablist technical ability to; Electric Daisy Carnival (Chicago & Vegas), Defqon 1 (NL & Australia), Dance Valley, Slammin Vinyl, HTID, Q-Base, Colors & Creamfields whilst continuing to play their beloved intimate club circuits across the UK, North America, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Asia & Europe.

With their larger-than-life stage presence and original music style, the Organ Donors continue to defy genres and gain the support and respect from fans and artists across the planet!
