Cursor Major
March 17th, 2017 sees Andy Norton release his third record - 'SILENT DISCO PUNCH UP' - of retro-wave rousing pop under the name Cursor Major.
In the run up to his EPs - INTERLOPER and CONSTELLATION PRIZE - Andy garnered support from local, national and international press. The Guardian (New band of the day), BBC6MUSIC, Artrocker, Amazing Radio, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Introducing and many more have hailed Cursor Major. Bristol Live Magazine shortlisted "Interloper" as one of the finest releases of the year.
According to The Blue Aeroplanes frontman, Gerard Langley, SILENT DISCO PUNCH UP conjures up the inventive pop oddity of Henry Badowski and Anthony Moore. With this third outing, it can also be said that Cursor Major extracts the studio essences of Jeff Lyne and XTC.
