About our DJ's:

Clive Henry

Clive is one of the UK’s longest standing flag-wavers for underground house music having been an original member of

the West London house mafia, one half of the genre-defining tech house outfit Peace Division and resident at the

world’s most musically influential nightclub DC10. Clive started his long musical journey way back in the mid-eighties

when he was working after school to earn money to feed his vinyl addiction. He caught the DJing bug going to local hip

hop jams in West London and listening to early electro/hip hop on pirate radio. It was all about to change however,

when in 1988 he was introduced to London’s early acid house scene by Rocky and Diesel from Xpress 2. They took him

to the seminal Spectrum and Shoom clubs which proved highly instrumental in shaping Clive’s musical future.

Not long after, Clive and Rocky started running their own successful nights in the emerging West London party scene

called Bone and Gosh with guests like David Holmes, Andrew Weatherall and Ashley Beedle. It wasn’t long before Clive

started playing at his own events, which in turn lead to bookings at other clubs, first in London and then across the UK. In

1998 he founded the iconic tech house label Low Pressings with fellow surburbanite Justin Drake who went on to

become his production partner in Peace Division.

During this period Clive relocated to Ibiza every summer and in 2000 on after a night out at Space with fellow DJ Lottie

they stumbled across the now legendary Circo Loco afterparty held at DC10 on Monday mornings. Back then DC10 was

more like a social club for DJs, promoters and their friends and it wasn’t long before Clive was a regular feature at the

club. He hasn’t looked back. During the last decade Clive has established himself as the British backbone of the club

laying down his trademark brand of deep no- nonsense house music week in week out having being invited to join DC10

stellar roster of residents back in 2005.

Clive’s residency at DC10 brought him into contact with Crosstown Rebels frontman Damian Lazarus who quickly bought

Clive into the Crosstown family. With the re-opening of DC10 this summer after its year ban, 2013 promises to be an

eventful one for Clive with his solo production path beginning to take shape and collaborations in the pipeline with

good friends Jamie Jones and Dyed Soundorom

Alex Arnout

Alex Arnout is a celebrated UK based DJ/Producer with over 20 years experience within the music industry.

He began his career in Spain where throughout the nineties he continued to hone his skills and knowledge.

His considerable talent and dedication ensured he was brought to wider audiences at well known electronic

music outposts such as DC10 & Pin Up in Ibiza, Dance Valley in Amsterdam, Off Sonar in Spain, Watergate in

Berlin as well as regular appearances at London’s Fabric nightclub and London's CircoLoco parties.

Inspired by the early House sounds coming out of Chicago and Detroit and the electronics of early

Grandmaster Flash records during the mid-eighties Alex’s passion took him to the studio where he

developed his production skills.

From here successful releases followed with Daz I Kue from Bugs in the Attic on Arthrob Records & with

Leiam Sullivan under the moniker Ceramix reaching No1 on Pete Tong's Essential Selection in the early

2000's.

Alex went on to release on Adam Selton and Subb-an’s increasingly acclaimed One Records label with his track “One Nation” featuring Hip-House legend Tyree Cooper.

His track ‘Vanishing Point’ which Underground Source described as a “huge hit” is indicative of his analogue

approach and received heavy rotation from the likes of Visionquest. Yet another well-received release was

his ‘Sound-Byte EP’ which Chicago based 5magazine described as “an unbelievably good deep house

record”.

Collaborations have followed with Jamie Jones and Clive Henry for the Hot Natured affiliated Hot Waves

label, as well as EPs and tracks for Fuse, Fear Of Flying, Composite, Turquoise Blue and Vitalik.

Independently of all this Alex has also been working on his own separate album. The quality and credibility

of his productions have further helped establish Alex as a major player in the electronic music scene.

In 2007 Alex went on to set up his own record label Dogmatik Records dedicated to quality electronic music

where his maverick approach and refusal to follow trends or fashion has ensured that Dogmatik remains a

revered underground house label.

Alex’s knowledge of the industry and commitment to the integrity of Dogmatik is heard clearly in the high

calibre of each release. With a wide spectrum of artists and with varying productions styles on the roster:

Maya Jane Coles, Dusky, Jovonn, Rick wade, Peace Divison, Alison Marks, Mark E, Samu.l, Reset Robot,

Stojche, Gavin Herlihy, Claire Ripley as well as remixes from Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia, Gerd, Ed

Davenport, Tom Demac, Laura Jones and Eats Everything to mention a few!

Alex has also been instrumental to the careers of a number of other artists; his central role in the

contemporary electronic music landscape has launched the career of Maya Jane Coles with her first EP “Sick

Panda” on Dogmatik as well as featuring her in many label showcases in Ibiza and Off Sonar festival. Over

the years Dogmatik has continued to break more fresh talent with EP’s from Dusky, Kuba Sojka & SamUL and

now Steve McCready. Expect to see Dogmatik Showcases in Europe & South America during 2014- all

A&R’d by Alex himself.

Upcoming releases from Alex, which are set to include collaborations with Burnski, James What, Adam

Shelton, & Jovonn, as well as new tracks on One Records, Dogmatik, Decay & RvS Records. Alex has also

begun a new side project with vocalist Tempo O’Neil as 'Project16’ and plans to release tracks later in 2014

As well as all the above, Alex is currently setting up two new labels, each with an entirely new roster of

artists- exciting releases coming up soon
