About this Event

This year we have a new rival which means we need YOUR support to win for the seventh year in a row!



The Varsity Pep Rally will take place in Rubix from 7PM into the late evening and will include entertainment from the one and only DJ Leroy! The Students’ Union Officers alongside Steve the Stag will be teaching the new Varsity chants, the Team Surrey Cheerleaders will be performing stunts and spreading cheer and there will be a dance-off initiated by the Surrey Dance Squad. Kurbside Kitchen will be selling their delicious gourmet street food all evening, there will be a photo booth area, a ‘tug of war’, a glitter station, and Hari’s Bar will be serving drinks all evening. We will also be giving out freebies for you to bring along on to Varsity on the day! This is an event not to be missed and is open to ALL STUDENTS – whether you are picking up a t-shirt or not.



If your club/society think they have a winning Varsity chant then submit it to VP Community (ussu.vpcommunity@surrey.ac.uk) by Friday the 17th March for the chance to win a £100 Tesco voucher for your club and PlayerLayer beanies or baselayers for your club!
