Eva's launches with not only a Reading's first and only Urban night but but the launch of Culan's debut single launch 'Easy To Love You'.. Not only will he be performing his new hit he will be performing a string of other covers and releases including his hit cover of Ed Sheeran's 'Shape Of You'.



CULAN:

Dancehall singer, songwriter and producer. Born and raised in West London, Culan grew up in a musical family where his uncles built a fierce reputation on the UK sound system circuit.



At the age of 16, Culan was scouted by Europe’s No.1 reggae outlet Jetstar, which lead him to producing & remixing for genre heavyweights; Beenie Man, Beres Hammond and more recently vocal work on Wretch 32s ‘All a dream’ single. With a mature eclectic ear, his musical influences growing up include the likes of; Bob Marley, Supercat and Mavado.



He has enjoyed gracing the stages of the Rampage stage at Notting Hill Carnival and working with top urban producers including; Mo Keyz (Ariana Grande, Wretch 32), Kz (Stefflon Don, Kojey Radical) and Josh Thompson (Rita Ora, Leon Else) among others.



Culan’s popularity began to spread in the early stages of 2017, as he released an original dancehall rewrite to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’, which amassed 5 million views within 4 weeks and received organic radio support across Kiss FM, Capital Xtra and BBC 1Xtra. Feeling that this is the right time, he is ready to bring his fresh style and sound to the mainstream.
