About this Event

Following the success of the last two festival's the organisers are now planning a bigger and better festival in 2017 with a variety of exciting jazz events which are being specially developed to entertain visitors to Bournemouth.



And as such the festival has been re-named to 'Jazz by the Sea Festival'!



Throughout the festival week, there will be live performances at various locations, including retail outlets, shopping arcades, bars, restaurants, hotels and clubs.



Jazz by the Sea Festival 2017 will open on 11th June with a Family Day of Jazz at Upton House Music Festival, from 12 noon, featuring a variety of popular jazz catering for all tastes. This event will also feature a pop-up marquee offering a ‘play jazz’ experience for young musicians.The event will close with a major headline concert at The Lighthouse in Poole on 17th June.
