Oxford, its taken a while but we’re finally coming and we couldn't be more excited for this summer blowout, a tribute to Tropical Funky Heat. As well as celebrating all the best Tropical Groove we can find in our crates we’ll be kitting out The Bullingdon wall to wall in to 2 zones of sun-kissed disco pastiche in the way only we can (expect big surprises).

Over the past few years, London based FunkinEven has cemented himself as one of the UK’s finest electronic musicians. Like all the greats, its no use trying to confine FunkinEven’s distinctive grooves to any specific genre. Steven Julien’s smooth cuts have reference points but in soul, house, boogie, techno, sonically FunkinEven is a genre in itself. Steven released his debut EP with Eglo Records back in 2009, two years later he founded Apron records, he’s been at the forefront of the industry ever since. We can’t wait to hear what he has in store for what promises to be a Funk-filled extravaganza of a debut. Do. Not. Sleep!
