Proud Camden partners with online lifestyle magazine It’s Rude to Stare and forward thinking indie label Cool For Cats to host a regular band showcase and club night.

Every second and fourth thursday of the month, Cool For Cats will bring you an eclectic variety of next wave bands while It's Rude To Stare will treat you to the best cutting edge DJs.



Also partnering with a series of fashion brands, the magazine and Proud will also be giving followers the chance to win exclusive prizes in the run up to its monthly party through its social media channels and newsletters!

BIRTHDAY SEX (live)

Birthday Sex release new Single ‘Wurp’ and celebrate with a big party at Proud on nov 7th.

Breaking down dancefloors with off-kilter beats and wonky synths from their bedroom studio, London-based dance-pop duo Birthday Sex slink into physical existence with their cassette/digital single debut, ‘Wurp'.

Getting together over a shared love of 90’s dance beats, Ata Kak, Noughties R'n'B and online cake-porn, Harriet’s sassy lyricism & Tom’s left-of-centre productions collide in a bid to make pop music fun again.

'Wurp' is available from October 30th through Teto Records (Tokyo) on limited edition cassette and digital

SHRINES (live)

Highly anticipated debut show for London-based electro synthpop combo (or minimal disco grunge,if you will) Shrines.

With Kitty and Cecil on vocals the pair create a joint front to Shrines,singing about the same old sh**t: pu$$y, money and w33d.

SANTERO (dj set)

In 2010, Santero's long love affair with mixing and matching different styles of music paid off, when he became the UK Red Bull Thre3style champion, defeating the likes of Oneman, Martelo and future winner Big Al in the final.

Now based in East London, Santero is an official resident at Ministry of Sound, playing for them both in London and across Europe, and runs his label and club night Weird Science with long time studio-partner Pete Jordan.
