After going on hiatus for half a year, James Paterson is back with a new story to tell. James has been working hard on his debut concept album creating a unique live music experience where you can see real life artefacts created by talented artists and inspired by the songs you will hear on the night. This is a ONE NIGHT ONLY deal! The album and artefacts will only be available to hear and see for 24 hours. A bold and intriguing move by the young artist, making this a must see event.

Singing about life, loss and love, James Paterson is a young singer songwriter here to tell a story. James is an honest musician, what you see is what you get. His truthful and endearing music is all that is needed to capture a crowd.



After supporting Mike Dignam and Natasha North in Summer 2014 James released his debut single ‘Read Between The Lines’ a definite fan favourite, followed by a powerful music video. At the prime age of 21 James began playing with a backing band, making the James Paterson live music experience even bigger than before. James and his band toured the UK in the summer of 2015 playing countless shows in many cities across the UK. In August 2015 James embarked on a North American tour stopping off in Long Island, Boston, Toronto and in the heart of New York Manhattan, to which he received an American following calling him "the new Ed Sheeran". In December 2015 James released a beautiful and emotionally stirring music video for his song 'Eternally' followed by his debut EP 'Long Story Cut Short'.

Taking an arena sized sound into a venue with four walls and a ceiling would seem quite challenging most bands, but no such challenge stands before We Are Parkas. Having formed just over a year ago, the band have already established themselves as Bath’s most exciting prospect in indie rock.



They take inspiration from the greats. Namely the Arctic Monkeys, The Jam, The Strokes, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and others of a similar vein. With towering riffs, soaring melodies, and palpable charisma their live show is a refreshing injection of pure energy and passion. It must be seen to be believed.
