For this event were bringing positive vibes and good vibrations to Moles! We’ve been keen to put on an event in Moles club to make good use of the best soundsystem in Bath. For the first event in this venue from us we’re showcasing the very best in reggae, dub and soundystem culture and are hugely exited to announce the headliners Channel One Sound!
Channel One is made up of selector Mikey Dread playing a tight selection of old and new dub reggae classics, all played from a single vinyl deck and accented with echos, sirens and dub effects. MC Ras Kayleb compliments Mikeys deep draws with Rastafarian chants and song.

▷ ▸ Channel One Biography ◂ ◃
Channel one sound are one of the world’s greatest and best known reggae dub sound systems. Running for over 30 years, Channel One built up their reputation as one of the main sound systems at Notting Hill Carnival.
Channel One’s mission is to break down barriers via reggae music, they have achieved this by playing new venues, new festivals and different countries, taking their unique sound to Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Turkey, Jamaica and all over Europe.
2009 saw Channel One embark on their hugely successful national Dub to Dubstep Tour showcasing their sound system as part of the tangible heritage behind dubstep. Channel One are also the first reggae sound system to have taken their sound to Wembley Arena.
In 2010 Channel One Sound System won the Red Bull Culture Clash against Skream + Benga, Goldie's Metalheadz and Souljazz records.
In 2011, Channel One have been on another tour, this time Dub to Jungle alongside Congo Natty, Tenor Fly, Congo Dubz, Nanci and Phoebe and Klose One.
In 2012 Channel One went on a Jamaica Party tour, celebrating Jamaica’s 50th year of independence – alongside Coki, Mala, Shy FX, The Bug and Flowdan, Top Cat, The Heatwave, General Roots and more.
Finally Channel One have toured with the legendary Twinkle Brothers, a concept put together by Mikey Dread. These tours have been a great way for Channel One to reach new audiences and spread their message. This is a real treat to have such a well-known brand in our small city of Bath.

Support acts come in the form of the finest local live bands, soundsystem selectors and Dj’s to keep the good vibes going until 4am!
We’re proud to be joined by Troy Ellis & His Hail Jamaica Reggae Band. Troy Ellis, son of late, great Jamaican vocal legend Alton Ellis, has performed since earliest childhood in Trench Town, Jamaica and followed in his father’s footsteps to such prestigious venues as London’s Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury Festival.
Since childhood Troy was inspired by his father’s music, Bob Marley and Toots, Bob Marley would give him dried food to take back to Trench a Town for the elderly . Troy formed Hail Jamaica Reggae Band a few years ago after Alton Ellis passed away, the name Hail Jamaica came from a Family Album, Roy released his album ‘ain’t that loving you ‘ as a tribute to his father.
Local band The Maitree Express will be warming up the night with their original mixture of reggae, dub and ska infused beats to get you dancing.
Also on the night will be sets from Bristol’s finest soundsystem selector’s Evermoor Sound as well as Bath’s Biggles' Sound and Bath City Bass Dj’s all who will be playing dub steppas, reggae, roots music and jungle to finish the event on a high.
