Proud East's weekly Pool Championship returns this Tuesday! Now a part of PopUp Japan, the tournament takes place alongside hands-on workshops, an eclectic cinema, Sony Playstation 4's and gourmet burgers from our fantastic kitchen.



As always, it is free entry, where you can win a HUGE £150 bar tab to spend on drinks for the winner, or a £50 tab for the runner up! The start time is 6:30pm with us gathering together to create the knockout schedule, then cue off from 7pm.

The focus at Proud East is on the sociable side of pool – this is not a deadpan competition for stoney faced veterans. Music, food and plenty of booze will play a big part in our weekly championship. However, life is better when it includes an element of competition so we are giving away £200's worth of food and drink the week’s champ and runner up!



If that's not enough, we also have some cracking new drinks deals to help ease you into the swing of things up until 10pm.

At Proud East we have 4 high-grade Brunswick ‘Centurion’ American pool tables. These are the bee’s knees of pool tables and are fantastic to play on. Each week our 32-man knock out tournaments will be played out in full with a champion crowned the same night.



TERMS



Winner receives a £150 Proud East voucher, and the losing finalist recieves a £50 voucher. Can be used on drink and pool hours. Redeemable within 28 days of issue and must be used in full during 1 visit.



RULES



Competition capacity 32 players/entrants.

The winner of each round will proceed to the next round.

1st round best of 3

Last 16 best of 3

Quarter finals best of 3

Semi-finals best of 3

Final best of 5



Where possible, later rounds will be played best of 5. In certain cases, rounds may reduce to best of 3 depending on the progress of the competition at each round stage.
