Thaïs Ray, born in Paris and now based in London, is a singer-songwriter whose sound combines indie pop, soul, and rock. She is inspired by a number of artists, such as Birdy, Lake Street Dive, and Duffy. Ray, who has a background in law and psychology, wrote her debut single "lights are dancing" to highlight her journey and inspire people to embrace their inner child.
