Mae Bradbury//// 'Bones' Debut EP Launch
About this Event
HEADLINE:
Mae Bradbury - 9:45pm
Mae Bradbury is a singer-songwriter based in Bath/Bristol. Since her early success at the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk awards in 2014 Mae has gone on to support artists such as Hudson Taylor, Turin Brakes and Mark Morris. Her confessional songwriting and storytelling is rooted within the folk genre. This is lead by melodies that explore her impressive upper register and emotive lyric writing which draw influence from Lucy Rose, Daughter and Kate Rusby. This summer will see the release of her debut EP ‘Bones’ which takes a darkened tone. Surrounding her voice and acoustic guitar sit eerie harmonies and ambient electric guitars which set the mood for the story told across the three tracks.
