About this Event

Forget the pub quiz. The virtual frontier has torn through your local pub's back wall and is calling you. Blast spaceships out of the nebula, duel the fiercest gladiators and go where no pint-wielding gamer has gone before. This is the Eastbourne Virtual Reality Gaming Night brought to you by the Adventures and Wisdom Institute @ Maxims.

Whether you've never tried VR before or you're a VR regular, this night will be a great way to enjoy some of the most exciting VR experiences on the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Children aged 11+ are welcome accompanied by an adult.

Adventures and WIsdom Institute (AWi) is an Eastbourne-based start-up social enterprise trying new ways to engage local people in creating a learning and innovation culture in the town. Proceeds from this event will be used to support free game-based learning activities for local people, initially, 16-25s at risk of social and economic exclusion.
