Musicians Against Homelessness, Oxford: The Terrorsaurs

09/09/2017

About this Event

As part of this year's MUSICIANS AGAINST HOMELESSNESS campaign RED HOT MUSIC is proud to present:

THE TERRORSAURS + WHO KILLED NANCY JOHNSON + REBEL STATION

Advance tickets £5 plus 50p from www.wegottickets.com/event/407406 - on the door entry will be £10 (£5 concessions).

The TERRORSAURS are a terrifyingly good rock‘n’roll band from Birmingham UK - pure entertainers pumping out a high-octane mix of garage, surf and classic heaviness. They have wrecked stages throughout the UK, Europe & USA on the back of studio albums recorded at WILD studios, Hollywood CA. Their latest, ‘Swamp Beat’, is due out this summer. KUTANGA!

WHO KILLED NANCY JOHNSON? are an incendiary punk/post-punk band from Reading with a growing reputation. They released their first EP early in 2017 and it and the live shows have drawn praise from punks and non-punks alike. "A brilliant band... full of energy... a really cool post-punk feel" - New Music Saturday. "Spiked with amphetamines... a band that embraces punk's origins as well as influences from the last four decades" - thePUNKsite. "It's really worth getting to see these guys" - Punkarolla.

Gloucestershire-based and kilt-equipped REBEL STATION are a delirious mix of old school punk & solid british rock, with lyrics that make a statement about the society we live in, while keeping tongue firmly in cheek. If you look back with fondness to the original punk era, or you missed the chance to see what all the fuss was about, you need to see Rebel Station.

MUSICIANS AGAINST HOMELESSNESS is a non-profit organisation set up by Oasis manager Alan McGee. Throughout September 2017 there will be gigs up and down the country to raise money for Crisis. The bands play for free, the promoter works for free, and all profits will be donated direct to Crisis, the homelessness charity.
