About this Event

Say Owt has been running slams, open mics and poetry events for the last 3 years.



We’re hosting an extra special CLASH OF CHAMPIONS at the City Screen Basement on the 2nd July with all our previous winners!



But we still want to make sure everyone has a chance to perform their poetry, so we’re doing a special cross-over with Busk At Dusk. One of the finest open mics in York run by the legendary Boss Caine, many of us at Say Owt cut our teeth at this night. Come, perform some poems, perhaps collaborate with a musician or two, have a drink and raise them to celebrate the end of ‘Season 3’ of Say Owt and the power of poetry!



Once we’ve finished the Clash of Champions at the Basement, we’re crash over to Dusk from 11pm until late, mate!
