About:

Dirty Palace - www.facebook.com/dirtypalace

It started with an ad posted on the steak restaurant on Tin Pan Alley. A month later, the first show in Dan's Islington flat. Being the only indie band in a all rap/grime lineup, the gig ended in an 8 man police squad bursting into the living room to shut down the fun. He was evicted from that property shortly after. A band born and bred on the outer edges of the central line, uniting the west and the east. The missing link between Chet Baker and The Damned! If Prefab Sprout were a hardcore band! Filthy, beautiful pop songs. The mission is to push the unglamorous and mundane, thoroughly wearing their hearts and last nights chicken and chips on their sleeves. Up the Palace.

The Featherz - www.facebook.com/TheFeatherzOfficial

"First up a little ramshackle glam punk courtesy of The Featherz. Unable to soundcheck (I think they got there a late) they seemed a little wrong footed at first but heck, that’s the punk spirit right? I can’t imagine the MC5, Stooges and Pistols sound checking back in the day. Fronted by Bowie fan Danie Cox (sporting a rather fine Ziggy cut) they tumbled through half a dozen tracks culminating in When Was The Last Time You Had Sex, as gloriously fucked up as Tracey Emin’s unmade bed."

The Horse Heads - www.facebook.com/TheHorseHeads

The Horse Heads are a three piece post punk/ skate punk band from Chelmford, Essex. Consisting of Ronaldo Rodriguez (vocals + guitar), Chad Worsley (bass + backing vocals) and Geore Young (drums). The Horse Heads are highly influenced by lower class British culture which you can definitely hear in their music and they're style of expression through clothing. They are also influenced by British bands like The Undertones, The Clash and Jamie T but at the same time taking influence from non-British guitar bands like Beastie Boys and The Hives. The Horse Heads have just finished recording a new E.P called 'Where's My Money?' and it will be released early June. The main highlights for the band are playing o2 Academy in front of Chris Martin (Coldplay) and supporting FREAK (signed to Polydor).
