Following on from previous collaborations that have seen the infamous Yussef Kamaal play their only show in Liverpool plus city debuts for Thundercat and Kamasi Washington in 2017, Bam!Bam!Bam! and Madnice team up yet again to bring a rising UK jazz star with hip-hop tones to Liverpool for a city debut. Bringing together melancholic jazz with alt hip hop beats, completed by vibrant soulful styling, we're hyped to have Alfa Mist play for us at 24 Kitchen Street in November.



Growing up in Newham, East London, Alfa Mist began his musical journey as a grime and hiphop producer. The self-taught pianist and sometimes rapper soon found himself drawn to the jazz, world music and film soundtracks he discovered through sampling. His sound blends melancholy jazz harmony with alternative hip-hop and soul.



His recently released second album ‘Antiphon’ has over a million hits on YouTube since its release in March and has pushed him forward in the new jazz scene as one to watch following the warm reception of his first record ‘Nocturne’ which featured the likes of Tom Misch and Jordan Rakei.



This one is going to be special.
