The Reading Festival After Party - Multi Crew Sound Clash!

★ Powered by New L-Acoustics Sound System ★



Something that's been long overdue in Reading - a night of local sound system culture - 20 of the best local crews coming together to clash for a unique multi-genre night like no other, held across 2 rooms in Reading's newest club - Coalition.



Originating in Jamaica - "a sound clash is a competition where crew members from opposing sound systems pit their skills against each other. Sound clashes take place in a variety of venues, both indoors and outdoors and of varied genres. The object is to beat or "kill" their competitors."



Our aim is to inject a new energy into the local scene bringing a load of crews together of mixed genres for something different. The music will do the talking. The crowd will decide the winners.



▬▬▬▬ RULES OF THE CLASH ▬▬▬▬



✗ 20 crews

✗ 10 vs 10 in each room

✗ Each crew plays for 30 minutes

✗ Winner of each round will be decided by crowd reaction and appreciation over seen by hosts for the evening: Counterfactual Tizzy J & JDogg

✗ Winner of each battle will go on to battle in Round 2 - to be held at a later date
