Mancunian rap-rock revolutionaries with unfinished business feat. original members including audacious frontman Nicky Lockett (aka MC Tunes), guitarist Sam Brox, Stephen “OJ” Oliver on bass and drummer Mykey Wilson PLUS Manchester DJ Vince Vega; featuring all the classic Done & Dusted album and brand new material due for 2018 release.



A big-beat bar band with old-school smarts, DUST JUNKYS are headed by the former MC Tunes (Nicky Lockett), a rapper who fronted 808 State for the Top 20 singles “The Only Rhyme That Bites” and “Tunes Splits the Atom.”



Boasting top tunes and an enviable live reputation touring with Fun Loving Criminals & Black Grape, turning heads on TFI Friday, cover splashes across leading pop culture mags, rampant festival sets at Glastonbury and Reading Festival followed and soon enough the rest of the nation caught up.



And a fan in Fatboy Slim, the superstar DJ would in turn provide the band with their biggest hit when sampling their Rinse (Beatbox Wash) as the backbone for his global smash “Gangster Tripping”.



Lockett formed Dust Junkys by 1995 and struggling to be signed the band hit the road and were signed by Polydor debuting with the single “WHAT TIME IS IT?” (from album Done and Dusted) followed by NOTHING PERSONAL & NON STOP OPERATION.



Capturing the mood of the recent 2016/17 shows, Clint Boon said, “The Dust Junkys were, quite simply, one of the best live bands I ever saw. It felt like they were pioneers of something we’d not had before. Rappers just weren’t fronting rock bands in 1996. Nicky Lockett was. Great to have them back. Rinse it boys!”.
