Want to know more about our ‘Materials’ day course? 

This is a practical AQA module, a great option for home educators or other types of alternative education.

Things that you will learn about:

1.    Electrical conductivity

2.    Thermal conductivity

3.    Testing for magnesium

4.    Identify metallic materials and non- metallic materials

5.    Properties of metals and non-metals

Learners will explore these topics through various outdoor activities, taking part in exercises and challenges to complete the unit. Activities will be suitable for ages 5+ but those 8+ will be working towards the award.
