His extraordinary path began playing with blues legend (and uncle) Otha Turner. When he plays, his songs are performed in a unique, improvised and impacting fashion, with regular references to his personal influences. Likewise, it can be said that R.L Boyce has irrevocably changed the landscape of the modern blues scene and for that, he is one of the masters.
