10,000 RUSSOS BIO:

Portuguese trio João Pimenta (drums/vocals), Pedro Pestana (guitar) and André Couto (bass) emerged from what they call “a dark, decadent city of a peripheral country in a peripheral continent”: Porto, Portugal. They formed in 2012 and soon released a four track EP, triggering some national buzz. As a result they went on to share stages with the likes of ‘A Place to Bury Strangers’ and ‘Wooden Shjips’ and then in 2015 getting signed to Fuzz Club to release their self-titled full length debut record.

With the release of their debut album the band continued to tour Europe extensively and acquiring a cult-like following at a whiplash rate - their incredible performance at Liverpool Psych Fest was widely described as a stand-out set by numerous music publications and fuzz fiends-alike.

In January 2017 and to whet the appetite for things to come Fuzz Club Records released a Live Session of which would see 10,000 Russo’s once again transcended the boundaries of psychedelia as we know it today.

April 2017 saw the entrance of their second record ‘Distress Distress’ is so ritualistic and industrial it see’s their usual post-punk sound, a primal and celestial mix of The Fall, NEU and Spacemen 3 of which pushes within an inch of techno territory with its abrasive, metronomic rhythms.

To promote the second album ‘Distress, Distress’ 10,000 Russo’s during May and June of 2017 the band toured extensively throughout Europe performing 38 shows. They’re now currently on their second tour which will see the band perform another 50 shows between September and November 2017.

BLACK DOLDRUMS BIO

Black Doldrums are a Heavy-Psych duo from London, consisting of Kev Gibbard on guitar and vocals and Sophia Lacroix on drums and vocals.

They deliver multiple layers of sound with fuzzy echo-drenched guitars and heavy relentless drums.

After the successful launch of their EP 'Exit City Lights' in August 2016, Black Doldrums released their album 'People's Temple' in February 2017 preceding a US tour.

They have now joined Wrong Way Records for a much anticipated release later in the year.

The band have supported acts such as The Cult of Dom Keller, White Manna, Sterling Roswell of Spaceman 3, Thurston Moore, The Fall and Dead Rabbits.

"Sexy heavy-fuzz guitar that lures you in before hitting you with the pounding beat. Their dark sound makes a b-line straight for your nervous system and reverberates around yer skull till your brain just quits thinkin’ for the day and takes off on a fuzzed-up psyched-out holiday. With an album, a single, and two e.p.’s already under their belt this band is gonna be something I can tell ya! I seriously recommend you stop whatever you’re doing right now and check ’em out!" - Goat Head Radio 2017
