13th October AD 54 – Emperor Claudius dies from poisoning under mysterious circumstances; his 17-year-old stepson Nero succeeds him. Nero by all accounts was a stand-up guy who later went on to run a chain of successful *coffee shops. *not poison shops.



When we asked the Loopt lads what have the Romans ever done for us, they said that the thieving bastards stole a deposit from a house they had rented, but then quickly omitted that they did “fuck it up quite a bit”
