Dawn Penn at Liverpool Music Week

02/11/2017

About this Event

"Wake the town and tell the people, 'bout the musical disc coming your way"

It gives us great pleasure to announce that legendary reggae artist, Dawn Penn, will be returning to Liverpool on 2nd November, when she performs as part of Liverpool Music Week.

One of the original queens of reggae music, Penn released her first single “When I’m Gonna Be Free” in 1966, followed in 1967 by rocksteady favourite, "You Don't Love Me" - produced by Coxsone Dodd at Studio One. Re-recorded and released in 1994, "You Don't Love Me (No, No, No)" has become one of reggae's most iconic and celebrated songs.

Support from Dub Defenders.

A Liverpool Music Week // Positive Vibration collaboration.
