About this Event

It’s 10th April 2010.

Scouting for Girls top the charts with “This Ain’t a Love Song”, Tony McCoy lands his first Grand National on Don’t Push It, and a small Tiki bar named Aloha opened on Colquitt Street.

It was a struggle at first. Too far off the beaten track (20m away from Seel Street), set in a scary looking basement, and our knowledge of marketing ourselves went as far as asking our fellow bar worker friends to send their regulars our way...Looking back, we really didn’t have a clue!

What we did have was an amazing team, a great product & a concept that was borne out of a love of giving people a great night out (not to mention a love of rum). Slowly but surely, Liverpool fell in love with our Aloha spirit.

7 years on we’ve decided to reunite our original team. Liverpool may have moved on since 2010, but great service still has the same principles, and the ingredients for a great night out haven’t changed.

We invite you down with ‘Aloha nui loa’ to enjoy our hospitality. We’ll be resurrecting the Free Shot Password, dusting off our Limbo stick, and limbering up for the Conga. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll have Johnny Bongo on the decks, doubtlessly playing tunes entirely inappropriate for this time of year.

It promises to be a great night and we’d love you to join us again.
