So here we are for our last throwdown of 2017. It's been a bit of a seminal year here at Rough Draft HQ. Daaaaaaaaaaaamn! Some amazing gigs and festivals have been played, records made and released, friendships set in stone and sweaty dances raved. SO...



We thought we'd finish off with this doozy... one for the freaks!!!!

Yoshinori Hayashi is an artist we've wanted to book for a couple of years now. Ever since that absolutely killer, out of this world 12" that dropped on Going Good back in the summer of 2015, we made it our goal to bring Yoshi to Bristol all the way from his home in Tokyo, Japan. Our man Franklin Gothic played with Yoshi in his home city earlier this year and now he's kindly returning the favour!



Anyone who knows about him and his sound will probably have been knocked for six - restless, completely fluid, and trippy as fuck! Since then he's also dropped records for the likes of JINN RECORDS (with a killer Dj Sotofett remix), on the Lovers Rock imprint and recently on Gravity Graffiti; dispensing his special blend of psychedelic jazzy gloop across the grooves. Freaks searching for a DJ set to get lost in won't be disappointed - you can find that mad freewheeling approach in his mixes too - a true selector! Expect everything from Ambient tripped out gloop, Hip Hop, Electro, Jungle, Hardcore, House, Techno. Expect to be taken on a journey. TIP
