Mentoring is offered from professional musicians and those working in the music industry - offering advice and support for the wealth of fledgling talent in the local area.

As friends, Jack Cowap and James Deacon have been playing music together since they were kids, and formed a longstanding friendship, based on a mutual passion for songwriting and performance. After trying out a number of different bands and line ups, something always seemed to be missing… Until now.



Jack and James, combine their keen ear for melody and knack for huge harmonies with a wide range of musical influences to create snappy, genre-bending tunes: ranging from gritty to outright anthemic.



2017 has been an exciting year for the indie-pop duo who have released 8 singles since their debut track 'Do What' came out in January. Since then, you may have heard their music on ITV's This Morning who featured their tracks ‘Rollercoaster’ and ’Stop The Rain' alongside a VT of clothes chosen by well-renowned fashion expert, Gok Wan. They also had their song ‘West Coast’ recently crowned Best Unsigned Song of the year at the Best of British Unsigned Music Awards.’

Break Insane

BREAK INSANE are currently a 4 piece melodic heavy metal band from Guildford. They will be performing an instrumental set, as they are currently auditioning vocalists.

They are mainly influenced by the legendary Iron Maiden, Toska, Karnivool & Lamb of God.

The 4 current members are ages 15-17. The founder and lead guitarist Christian formed the band in 2016, looking to create an original and different style of metal, consisting of heavy riffs, breakdowns, and melodic ambience. The drummer, Troy, is also an original member, who brings a high energy and explosive nature to the group. Guitarist, James, keeps a heavy edge to the music, and completes the soaring dual guitar melodies. Bassist, Ben, keeps the heavy rhythm section of the band tight, with punchy basslines and unique riffs.

The band will begin to record their debut EP in 2018, whilst finishing writing the near approaching and following album. They will be playing a selection of old and new songs, consisting of many different vibes and sounds, for their 30 minute set.

So, if you like heavy riffs, heart-felt melodies, screaming solos, mosh pits, and sheer brutality, or just a good night out, then you should probably come and see this band.
