Every Thursday, Proud Camden's club night RUDE curates a weekly rendezvous with an eclectic variety of next wave bands and cutting edge DJs.



With an early evening program of live sets from the paramount of forward thinking pop groups, RUDE exhibits everything current from the deepest of cosmos delving shoegaze to the innermost matrixes of future disco.

MYSTYRYS

Bound by a mutual love of obscure Oakland trio Natural Dreamers, MYSTYRYS write noisey guitar tracks designed to clash sixties harmonies with the noise and urgency of bands like Abe Vigoda and Deerhoof, together with the psyche of bands like Women and Red Krayola to create something unique. With a number of singles out on their own label Psychic Healing Network over the past 2 years, 2014 will see a whole load of new material released on the label.

GLOSS REJECTION

Featuring members of Weird Menace, NO/Satellites of Love and Seeds of Doubt, this gloomy three piece formed with a combined love of all things Dead Moon to remind you that there is still a fire in the Western World. Try and imagine a place and time where Crime and the City Solution go round for bread and water at Greg Sage's House and invite Toody Cole, Lydia Lunch, Karen Dalton, Kat Bjelland, the Deal Sisters, Sylvia Plath and the Neo Boys. On this occasion, a young and impressionable Chan Marshall might also make a late appearance with Steve Shelley if the weather hold out. Sounds like a riot, but it will probably all end in tears.
