About this Event

Waiting for Smith

Waiting for Smith is singer-songwriter Harry who is joined live by Carl on bass and Tim on drums. After becoming bed-bound from breaking his back avalanche training in the French Alps, Harry learned to play guitar. His latest single ‘Peace in Greece’ was released in August and has garnered support from Huw Stephens on Radio 1 and Dermot O’Leary on Radio 2.

Soft Sports

Formed at the end of 2018, Soft Sports is the sound of duo Chris Matthewson and Leo Clark, who are joined live by Declan Haughian and Harry Baker. The Brighton based band perform pensive and off-centre alternative rock and if there debut EP ‘Elephant’ is anything to go by, they’ll be worth catching at Communion’s club night.

MYSIE

23-year old Mysie is the latest electro-pop artist to come out of South London. 2019 saw the release of her distinctive debut EP and her album is dropping later in the year.

Bill Jefferson

London based singer-songwriter Bill Jefferson’s self-produced music has been described as both optimistic and moving. He’s played a number of festivals this summer including Latitude and Wilderness, and we’re excited to see him bring his live set to Notting Hill Arts Club.

Hugo Barriol

Hugo Barriol is a French singer-songwriter. Starting as a busker in Australia, then later in Paris, this year saw him release his debut album ‘Yellow’.

Cameron Hayes

Opening November’s club night is Cameron Hayes who released her first single ‘Chemical Love’ in April this year. Cameron’s sound has been described as ‘hypnotic melodies, with a sultry yet powerful voice’, and with Billie Eilish and St Vincent as her musical influences, she’ll be worth getting down early for.
