The anthemic candour of Midlands four-piece Max Raptor fuses classic British punk attitude with an astute sensibility to a ballsy riff, forthright narrative and infectious hook-fuelled chant. Having spent the last year touring, playing live and writing and recording debut material, building up a head of steam, a reputation for raucous and energetic live shows and a fan base in the process, Max Raptor are to release their debut mini-album 'Portraits' through Naim Edge Records.

FORT HOPE

Fort Hope are a rock band hailing from Beds, Bucks and Herts in England. The 4piece create a blend of pop hooks, rock riffs and postrock inspired atmospherics. The band have become known for their heartfelt lyrics, anthemic choruses and energetic live performances.

In June the band released their first single, Control, which received airplay on Kerrang! TV and MTV Rocks as well as a host of local and national radio stations. The song has become a fan favourite with its infectious hooks and singalong chorus. Even audiences who have never seen the band before will be singing along by the end of the song.

Since the band's formation in January 2013 Fort Hope have released two EPs and a single, received critical acclaim from numerous publications as well as TV and radio exposure. Fort Hope have toured with the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Never Shout Never, Andrew McMahon, We Are The In Crowd, The Maine, We Are The Ocean and Fearless Vampire Killers, to name but a few.

ONLY RIVALS

To sell out one of your country's most treasured venues is a feat for any band, but to do it at your first gig is the mark of something truly special. Dublin's Only Rivals did just that in August, when a few months after their first practice they took to the stage at a packed-out Fibber Magees in Dublin.

For the four Irish lads that make up the band - vocalist and guitarist Stephen Arkins, bassist Sean Reid, guitarist Jason McTernan and drummer Francis Mc Donnell - it was the start of something special.
