The acoustic two-piece SOJ are old school friends from the Halifax hills. Influenced musically by folk, blues, country, skiffle and punk, the duo have crafted a raw, earthy sound, defined by double bass slapping, guitar chopping and raspy hollering. Guest musicians sometimes join the rowdy, spontaneous workhorse pair on their bar room and festival ventures up and down the country
