Live Music curated by Cool For Cats Records:

GRASS HOUSE

Self-styled purveyors of ‘outsider pop’, London quartet Grass House are one of the best bands in the country right now. They are attracting comparisons with people like The Walkmen and The National, and rightly so: their album 'A Sun Full And Drowining', out now on super cool label Marshall Teller, has been described as " a glorious and brooding storm. It’s melodramatic, swirling and occasionally psychedelic, Palmer’s lyrics riding on waves of cinematic guitars, dramatic clouds slowly formulate and roll ominously across the skyline.” (Fake DIY)

Their live show isn't any less impressive: we saw them recently at a special intimate event and were blown away. One not to miss!

CLIMBING BOYS

"With a sound stemming from the jangling post-punk of acclaimed early-80s indie label Postcard, Climbing Boys' bass-driven songs allow for some intricate, reverberating guitar work that frequently breaks into catchy, melodic choruses on their self-released debut EP 'Take the Floor'."

TAIL FEATHER

Filling rooms around the country with rich vocal harmonies and charged guitar riffs, Tail Feather are creating some of the most exciting groove-led music around.

The band’s first single 'Spellbinder' spotlights the band's bluesy, 70s rock ethos. Teamed with a suitably psychedelic video, the band has received praise from the likes of the 405, Shiny Shiny New and Never Enough Notes.
